Inmagic Maintenance
When you buy Inmagic DB/Text Works or Web Publisher Pro, a one-year Inmagic Maintenance agreement is included in the price. This agreement entitles you to receive all the version upgrades and software enhancements released for your purchased software during the period of the agreement. (See DB/Text Works enhancements and Web Publisher Pro enhancements.)
Renewing this Maintenance agreement annually means that you will always keep up-to-date with all the latest features as they are developed and released by Inmagic. You will also be entitled to access Inmagic's Customer Extranet for service packs, technical information (including the support knowledgebase) and best practice guidelines, all of which will help you to get the most out of your Inmagic products. It is the most cost effective and efficient way to keep your solution up to date.
If you have both DB/Text Works and Web Publisher Pro, keeping them both on the same version is important. They are designed to work together and, therefore, there are interdependencies built into the software. It is highly recommended that they be upgraded together to ensure they both work correctly.
How does Maintenance work?
When Inmagic release a new version of your software, they will send you an email containing a software download link and password. The email also contains easy to understand instructions, but should you have any difficulties, please contact us and we will be able to assist you through the process. Depending upon your connection speeds, downloading the software should be a quick and simple process taking less than half an hour.
