Trimagic Barloan Plus
Barloan Plus is Trimagic’s software for tracking the movement of physical resources. It connects to any DB/Text Works database using an ODBC driver to process your loans and returns quickly and effectively, streamlining the lending process.
Barloan Plus is simple and easy-to-use, and can be set up so that information centre staff retain responsibility for lending, or so that can borrowers process their own loans via a customised interface on a stand-alone PC. Stocktaking is also supported through the uploading of files from handheld scanners.
Barloan Plus is available as a browser-based or Windows application.

- Support for portable barcode readers, enabling information centre staff to perform stocktakes or ‘office raids’ to scan items and update the system with item location.

- Batch return by scanning the items from the ‘returns box’ for immediate system update.

- Browser version enables loans procession by an unlimited number of users from any location.
- ‘Auto archive’ feature moves lending data from the ‘active loans’ database to the ‘loans history’ database whenever an item is returned.
- Consistent user interfaces between Trimagic applications, for example, TIMS library management system and TRAKS records management system.
