Build once, publish many times

Db/Text Works databases can be published on your LAN, on a CD-ROM, on your intranet or on the internet (intranet and internet publishing requires Web Publisher Pro software)

Fast, precise, user-friendly searching

DB/Text Works can index every word in a textbase, regardless of field size, enabling super-fast keyword searching across 1,000,000 records in less than a second. Customised query screens include Boolean operators, keywords selection from pop-up indexes, as well as date, keyword, range and proximity searching.

Flexible design and maintenance

Textbase design depends entirely upon your own particular application needs; you simply specify the fields you require, and the type, including abstracted text, dates, numbers, images, etc. You can include as much information in a field as necessary from a single keyword to the full text of a 50 page proposal.

3-D data model

DB/Text Works is 3 dimensional in that it allows you add multiple entries into any field at any time (keywords, emails, names, etc.)

Ability to link textbases

Linking textbases means only having to enter data in one textbase, but being able to display it in any other textbase.

The DB/Text Works WYSIWYG form designer makes it easy to design your query screens and record display forms.

Built-in image management allows you to store, retrieve and print images. You can also scan images into image fields using TWAIN-compatible scanners, as well as add text and graphics to images.
