Barcode readers

Trimagic can recommend a range of portable and/or wedge style barcode readers from Datalogic. Portable readers are very useful for managing collections in different locations, and for stocktaking. Trimagic programme and install portable readers for our clients, creating streamlined compatibility with their Trimagic solution.

Keyboard wedge readers are attached to the computer. These options are suitable in cases where one machine has been designated as the loans processing workstation.

Barcode labels

Once your data has been converted into a DB/TextWorks database, Trimagic Software can assist with the provision of barcode labels. It is possible to print your own labels using a suitable barcode font, or Trimagic can provide sheets of labels in shelf order for your convenience.

Infobasket 

Trimagic Infobasket is a new add-on tool for Inmagic customers using WebPublisher PRO. The Information basket allows users to select items of interest from search results and add them to their personal basket. From the basket the user can perform a number of actions on the selected items, including:

- Email the items to themselves or others
- Request the items to be sent to them from the library
- Download the items
- Print the items
- Save the items

This tool is a fabulous add-on to any end user OPAC.
