Customers using WebPublisher or WebPublisher PRO can create canned queries. A canned query is a pre-defined search presented on an intranet or internet as a Hypertext link. These canned queries are links that contain the search criteria that is sent when the link is clicked. Users are one click away from the information they need, without entering any search terms, and with no training.

Link searches or canned queries can appear anywhere on your internet or intranet. Clicking on the links performs the search immediately.  You could have a link to show items arrived in the last 7 days, or all websites you have indexed on a subject, or to perform a subject search on the latest hot topic.

During this online module you will be shown how they can be used and how they are developed. A number of queries will be created during the session from simple queries to quite complex queries.
